Workshop participants should bring a laptop with MATLAB installed. SPM8 works with Windows, LINUX and Intel Mac systems. See the SPM8 page for details concerning operating system requirements.
 
Instructions for installing SPM8

1. Install MATLAB 7.1 (or later)
2. Download and unpack the core SPM8 distribution
3. Download and apply any SPM8 updates
4. Start MATLAB
5. Add the SPM8 top-level directory to the beginning of the MATLAB search path. In doing so, use "Add Folder..." rather than "Add with Subfolder..."
6. Save the new MATLAB search path and close the window.
7. Type "spm" at the MATLAB prompt
8. The SPM8 top-level dialog box should appear on the screen.

Please make certain that MATLAB is working on your laptop prior to the workshop. Data used in the demonstrations will be provided at the workshop.
